New DATA Inspector features launched (log in to see them in action):
- New Admin Checks – better visibility into critical GA settings.
- Enable/Disable Any Check – audit exactly what matters to you.
- Sample Tables Upgrade – search, sort and review larger datasets.
These enhancements make it even easier to audit your Google Analytics setup, verify data quality, and check for personal data (PII) collection — all powered by our smart technology.
1. New Admin Checks: See What Matters in GA Settings
Google Analytics admin settings — such as linking products or enabling Google Signals — can dramatically impact your data. We’ve added new checks in the Data Collection section to surface these settings at a glance.
These checks don’t pass/fail or affect your Risk Score, since there’s no one-size-fits-all “correct” setting — instead, they help you quickly understand your current configuration so you can make informed decisions:
2. Enable/Disable Any Check: Full Audit Control
You asked, we delivered. You can now enable or disable any individual check from your Project Settings.
Previously, this flexibility was limited to sections of checks. Now, you can tailor your audits down to each specific item — so you only see the insights that matter to you and your team.
3. Sample Tables: Bigger and Better
We have revamped the sample tables that show examples of failed or warning results. Why? Because in Google Analytics 4, direct links to reports are often unavailable, so we now preserve more of your data to help you investigate issues thoroughly.
- Search, sort, and paginate your results for easier review.
- Sample size increased: we now save 100 rows per audit (1,000 rows coming soon!)
